Book Drive
CLCP began collaboration with Thrift Recycling in 2006. Books were donated and sent to Thrift in Newnan, Georgia to be recycled back into circulation and saved from landfills. In 2007, Reading Tree took over the collecting of books and placed bins in several locations throughout Troup County. Books can be taken to these sites for donation. Reading Tree gives the “gentle” used books back to the community through organizations like the CLCP, Boys and Girls Clubs and schools.
